Thaqafa & Care is a research-informed, capacity-building initiative dedicated to strengthening organisations and systems to deliver culturally and religiously sensitive care.
We work with healthcare services, community organisations, educational institutions, and policy bodies to embed culturally responsive and faith-aware practices into service delivery, training, research, and policy. Our goal is to help institutions move beyond cultural awareness toward meaningful, ethical, and sustainable inclusion.
Grounded in public health, cultural safety, psychology, and community-engaged research, our work translates evidence into practical tools, training, and frameworks that improve equity, trust, and outcomes for diverse populations. We place strong emphasis on culturally and linguistically diverse communities, including Muslim communities, while ensuring our work benefits broader multicultural contexts.
Thaqafa & Care does not offer direct services to clients. Instead, we assist organisations in enhancing their workforce skills, policies, service models, and community engagement. This enables them to serve their communities more effectively, respecting dignity, cultural safety, and respect.
